Built from the ground up
I’m a nightlife promoter from Boston known as Bigbossman Snizz. I got into the promotion game back in 2007, originally as a way to raise funds for a semi-pro football team started by one of my childhood friends, who I was also a co-owner with.
From there, I began building my own brand, SCHDOR Entertainment, and later teamed up with some close friends to create another brand called Fam IV Life. Both brands were built from the ground up through real grassroots promotion.
Before social media, we were outside
This was before social media took over, before Facebook and Instagram marketing. We were outside doing the real footwork: passing out flyers, showing up to events, networking, and connecting with people face to face.
Why I do it
What I enjoy most about promoting is bringing people together to have a great time and making sure everyone gets home safe. I truly appreciate the people who support my events and follow what I do, and I never take that support for granted. That’s why I work hard to create experiences where people can come together, enjoy themselves, and build memories.
The Kentucky Derby Day Party
My signature event is the Kentucky Derby Day Party, held every year on the first Saturday in May. It’s one of my favorite events to produce because a portion of the proceeds goes toward helping low-income college freshmen with dorm essentials, allowing me to give back and support my community while doing what I love.

Bigbossman Snizz is a Boston nightlife promoter and the founder of SCHDOR Entertainment. He has been promoting events since 2007 and hosts Boston's Kentucky Derby Day Party every year on the first Saturday in May.
